Beautiful work. I love the burst of color, it really looks like it's some crazy, exotic plant!

I love the subtle gradients and the use of circles to create a construction. It almost looks like a photo of some plastic design rather than 3D. Great work.

Thanks, it was far more work and time than I intended to spend on it, but that was my own fault for just having to make sure that each sphere is an equal distance from it's adjacent spheres on every single petal (a set distance throughout the whole image, despite the petals being on different shaped curves - it took forever to figure out a way of doing it accurately). Glad you like it anyway, coming from someone as interested in shapes as a font designer that's quite pleasing to hear :)

I love this completely!
There are a rainbow of colours that are just so vibrant and really they made my eyes pop!
Well done!
I like how it looks and the image looks really professional!
This is very beautiful and I love it a lot because the colours are so vibrant and positive

Very well done. I absolutely love the symmetry and colour scheme. Good use of colour placement, the harsher colours such as yellow, orange, and red cause the viewer to go straight to your focal point. I cannot see anything you could improve on because I am assuming you intended this piece of art to look exactly the way it does.

Thank you for the comment! Yeah I put a lot of planning into how I wanted this to look and a lot of trial and error in creating it too. Thanks for the feedback on the colour scheme too, for the longest time I had red in the centre and dark blue around the edge (but still going through the colour wheel in the same order) and nearly went with that instead.

You are welcome. The yellow is a softer colour and a more welcoming colour for the eyes than red. Red is in a fantastic spot as it outlines and bolds your focal point.

That's nice. I think it would look even better with transparent background.

Thank you. I thought about rendering these with a transparent background also, but I liked how they pop off the white at the time. I may change it up at some point in the future and try it out :)

This is just so beautiful. I saw the WIP and just went speechless. The details on it makes it look very nice. And the fact that it makes an optical illusion is brilliant. I have to applaud to that

I also really like the way how the colour blending wasn't drastic and it smoothly fades (like the bright yellow center slowly fades to a light grren at the end). Its a nice colour combination and arrangement that you used. The flower petals are absolutely brilliant and have a nice fine detail touch on them. A lot of effort is put in this during that 14 hour radius. Keep up the good work ! :)

Thank you very much! I made so many different versions of this with the same colour order, but starting with a different colour at the centre (it nearly ended up being red at the centre with dark blue on the perimeter). I liked the idea of green on the edge though as it is very flower like in shape and it looked the most like leaves as a bottom layer.

It was 14 hours of actual work on it, there was a fair few more doing the preparation and figuring out how to do it too though. For example, the first few layers of petals are all different shapes and sizes (they get longer and wider the further back they are in the image) and each petal had to have a different amount of spheres around the edge, evenly spaced, to not leave any gaps or look noticeably different from the layers above. That alone was a good 3-4 hours of experimentation and math headaches working out distances on curves lol.

I do actually happen to know how many petals are in this, but I don't want to ruin anybodies fun and give it away :P I'm not overly interested in figuring out how many individual spheres I put in it though :-o
